Guatemalan Antigua Coffee
The highest grade Guatemalan coffees, which are strictly hard bean, are approved for regional designation after tasting establishes that the coffee meets the flavor criteria established for each region by the Guatemalan coffee association. This regional designation includes, among others, Atitlan, Coban, and our selection, Antigua. This mountain grown coffee originates from farms and plantations surrounding the colonial city of Antigua.
Legendary for its flavor, Antigua coffee is characterized by complex flavors ranging from spice and smoke to even chocolate. A well balanced coffee it has a smooth feel and usually moderate in flavor.
This particular coffee is a regular coffee. World Trader Coffee also offers Guatemalan Antigua coffee as a swiss water process decaffeinated coffee.
